Sarah's Story

Sarah Pollard is a writer, illustrator and artist from rural Western Australia. As a young woman with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sarah's flair for art and story telling gives her a unique platform to celebrate her creativity and connection to nature. Sarah is currently developing a series of stories featuring her beloved Outback Bush Buddies, inspired by the real-life pets, animals and wildlife she encounters every day.

Sarah recently launched her second book 'The Bush Tale of Miss Hen' ย The book is now available in the Shop for purchase along with Sarah's first book 'The Bush Tale of Timmy the Lamb' which she released last year.

Sarah has just released her second professionally printed book "The Bush Tale of Miss Hen." This is the second book in a series featuring all her real-life pets, animals and wildlife she encounters every day.

Christmas 2022 in Southern Cross

We had a very enjoyable Christmas 2022, at home on our farm in Southern Cross. Aunties, Uncles and Cousins came from Perth and Kalgoorlie. There were family coming and going, staying from Christmas Eve through to New Year. My Grandma lives on our farm. Christmas lunch and dinner was at her house this year. All the families made and took food to share.
